what a shame, its not only the premiership thats on its back theres alot of companies that are gonna start threatening to sue unless certain material gets removed.

Personally I hate google, they install software on your cpu that no one has any idea what its doing, I mean how many times has your firewall said something is trying to access the internet and you have no idea what it is??

Sadly youtube has deleted loads of videos due to copyright infringement and that stuff, I wish we, the internet and youtube were free, free to run and ruin copyright laws like the birds

google is well known for using very good spyware on your cpu that monitors what you look at and what you are downloading.

What its called I really couldnt tell ya. but believe me its there.

Spyware isn't downloaded on to your CPU! Chances are you've picked up some spyware elsewhere. I've never had problems with Google.

Actually, it's not known for that at all, primarily because Google doesn't use spyware. Like maximus said, you've probably picked it up somewhere else.

excuse me i never said i had spyware on my cpu, i use an excellent firewall and spyware protector.

I was talking about the fact that google does have bots running around the net signing up to forums and the such and spying on peoples conversations, also installing google toolbar gives them unlimited access to your internet viewing.

Yeah, goddamn Google for crawling the internet and providing people with accurate search results!

Correct me if I'm wrong (it's a long time since I used the Google toolbar) but don't you get the option to turn off the Google Page Rating feature of the toolbar, which sends anonymous information to them about your surfing habits in order for the feature to work?

Ah, but free as in speech, or free as in beer? I agree with the first, but not the second; people should be rewarded/paid for their work that people enjoy, otherwise they may not have enough insentive to continue.

don't use google then! seriously. other have said it and i'll say it. google isn't the only search engine on the market, and the bots help make it what it is. (i don't use google toolbar.)

and don't get me started on how search engines work... blargh!
