She isnt that bad....then again when she talks I want to shout "cough woman for the love of god!...clear that bloody throat!!"....I dont though.

She's too cool for school....as am I for using that term.

Hmm, I don't mind listening after 10am if I've nothing better to listen to.

But to be honest, I preferred Simon Mayo who used to start at 10am. Can't believe that was over 5 years ago, I'm sure it was early 2001 he left.

The breakfast show finished at 9am in those days, so thats when Simon started... an hour of the mystery years! I miss those days too!

Chris and Dave would quite often have a competition to phone the studio first to tell Simon what the mystery year was....

Surprising really, if I wasn't starting till 4 I wouldn't be out of bed at 9am.

The thing about radio 1 in the daytime is that you have pretty much the same playlists on all the shows from Moyles to Scott Mills - so the music is not an issue, what you listen for is to be entertained by the presenter. And Jo Whiley has no discernible personality, so her show is boring, simple as that. I enjoyed it when she was on hoiday and Sara Cox did her show. I like Coxie, she is clever, funny, a bit unpredictable and rude. Jo Whiley is just bland................

I agree with the comments that Jo Whiley is boring. I used to be really interested in the Changing Tracks and Live Lounge but now dont even seem to bat an eyelid when they come on. Ive found in recent months that I've become increasingly bored with Radio 1 playing the same songs day in day out its on at work. Edith doesnt stick so rigidly to the playlist and I pay more attention to her show in the afternoon because her personality seems to come across better.

I'm sorry but r u crazy?Sara Cox is the pits she's common knows nothing about any music outside the top 40 and very crude.

I think it will happen soon - Radio 1 will announce Jo Whiley will move - she'll stay within the BBC, most likely moving to 6.

I've imagined Jo Whiley moving to 6 Music ever since Lamacq joined the station. I'm surprised shes been on R1 as long as she has, she must be the oldest Dj left on the station?
