We have a very nice railway station.
You should go to PIGS if you have the chance, and go to the Corn Exchange and see a play at the WYP.

Yeah I can understand that... I must say I don't mind him as such but if I was choosing I certainly wouldn't have chosen to see him. However, she's coming with me to see We Are Scientists and she took me to see REM, so I can't complain..

We'll be driving, not going on the train and probably won't have much chance to do anything else while we're there... Somewhere else to go though - I quite like visiting places I've not been to before.

Leave the guy alone.

He might not be a radio genius but he’s only helping a mate out for a one-off. I’m sure there’s stuff you might not be good at but would still do to help out a mate.

I'm sure Radio 1 could afford to provide Chris with a funnier, more professional sidekick for the day. He shouldn't have been asked to help out.

Spend some of the license fee on a 'funnier' person for 3hrs

or

ask someone who the team and the listeners are already familiar with to lend a hand for a morning.

Why not? Its not like the BBC couldn't afford to especially on their big morning show which draws so many listeners.

Personally I think Chris and the team could have carried the show perfectly well without Dave for a day. There was just no need for Longman to be there.

Longman did okay, considering. Didn't detriment the show at all, IMO.

Thank You.

IMHO he doesn't deserve the slating some people have given him. Takes balls to talk on an open mic to the whole country when your not used to it.

Yes bit he also works in a sandwich shop. If I were Chris I'd pick a better love idol!
