And if Chris had spent all his time in with the crowd, people would be complaining that he was just massaging his ego by surrounding himself with his fans all the time.

It's not the Radio1 Roadshow (doncha just miss 'em) or One Big Belly so it's bound to be different.

I met Chris a few times and he was lovely. Chatted for a while about Jaffas..

He could have just said hello and carried on walking but he chose to stop. Maybe he was in a funny mood.

I met my favourite band last year. 'A' (no one remembers) but they were so nice. Just walked around the venue talking to fans. I went to see them in Norwich, they let us in for the soundcheck and said I could go backstage afterwards. I know they're not huge stars but still very nice people even though they didn't have to be.

The way you approach people is the key. Just say hello and smile..if they stop then great, if they even give a smirk back then it's no big loss and they're happy. They just don't want to be mobbed.

Maybe Chris just wasn't in the mood that day.

A are a good band, yes they did do Starbucks.

Obviously being Scottish you have no taste.

Well, each to their own :P

Their older stuff is better. Starbucks was offa the Hi-Fi Serious album which a lot of people say is their best..it's not. They're amazing live. They toured with Faith No More back in the day.

Geeky fact, Jason Perry (singer of 'A') is currently producing and co-writing with Matt Willis and McFly. So is 'A's bassist Dan. So hopefully the more money they make from that, the more money there is for another 'A' album. I can only wish.

I think someone I used to work with was related to someone from A (cousin or similar).

I wasn't showing how amazing they are, just a simple fact. Remember it if you want..or discard the information. I'm not fussed. I know they're not the greatest band in the world, Rush should be!

Seems a bit ironic really, as its all about getting to know Radio 1 DJs on the 6 Weeks of Summer

Theyre awesome. Save Us is quite a weak single, but arent all singles that are written for Greatest Hits albums!

I saw them on their yesterday went too soon tour, echo park tour and when they surpported Stereophonics back in 2001 ( 2 weeks before Jon Lee killed himself) and they failed to impress me then.

I doubt they would impress me now, my music tastes have moved on hugely since that time and i no longer am impressed by that type of music.
