Who gives a monkeys, he's a DJ, and a fat one at that. I think a show based on Tranny rachel is a sure fire winner

They should put me on TV and everyone could point and laugh. A sure-fire winner.

It wasn't the time, many chat shows can survive in that slot I'd wager. It's more Davina who's a terrible host for a chat show

virtually every american style british chat show is approached in completely the wrong way. In Britain, the host (who is normally already famous in another field) are held as the be all and end all of the show.

The American chat show is built upon razor sharp comedy writers and presenters previously 'unkown' who carry the ability to deliver a stand up style monolouge, smooth presentation and the ability to work the most pretenious of hollywood stars.

I don't think Moyles is really suited to the chat show format as stand up and interviews arn't really his thing.

I think an anarchic style gameshow would suit him well, containing lots of interaction with regular punters participating in unorthodox games.

i would enjoy seeing moyles as something like conan o'brien, the first few seasons. conan and andy richter were consistently funny, and had a weird manic nature about their humour because they were never sure if the show wasn't being cancelled. once that changed, the show got boring. i doubt moyles could pull that off though.

Lets face it, the Exc. Producer was none other than Mr Chris Evans, who I feel is wasted behind the camera, so hopefully Moyles might be able to pull a tv show off this time. I think with him being behind the breakfast show, he's grasped the ability to shine both on the tv and the radio.

I think he's certainly moved on since LWCM on Channel 5, which was a complete nightmare and made very painful veiwing. Moyles is currently upping his profile by making a number of tv apperances (for example: Family Fortunes, Xfactor, Hotel whatever its called.)

At least give it a chance, I know the memories of his previous TV project are still fresh, it would be nice to see more of Moyles and how this tv show works out. Just a thought, did Chris Evans get a new contract for his chat show thing? Would Moyles' show be of similar format like last time?

I don't think a series would be a good idea just because of the idea of it 'possibily' flopping.
Maybe a special one night only episode.
Love him on the radio !

I remember at the Brits this year he was asking Peter Kay to write him something, Kay said "Alright then". Brilliant - A bit of 'Chris and Comedy's Radio Roadshow to Nowhere' type format would be perfect. Shove Evans get Peter Kay behind the action, both these talents know how to make real down to earth comedy thats a good laugh for all.

One thing I'm sure of, is that 'live' TV would not be the way to go..initially. Moyles is always saying he really wants to act, I think this is the best way for him, should he choose to branch out.

I don't think Moyles could ever do TV anywhere near as good as Conan O'Brien.
