If the calls I get from America at work are anything to go by Russ, that is most definately true.
I always get comments from american women like "oh my god i love that accent, where are you guys?"

lots of american girls will go out with any loser with an accent. one of my cousins married a total posh english prat, and only started dating him because of the accent. i've never really swooned over that sort of thing, but usually when i meet british people in real life i act weird and try not to let on that i'm a freak. if they get to know me, it usually comes out. like one of the grad students at work loves to make fun of me for having a crush on tyrone dobbs.

the golden gate bridge? i walked across it once. it was allright. it's something of a death trap though- no divider for opposing traffic. it's also really expensive to cross.

the san francisco-oakland bay bridge is the one that matters. it connects sf with the east bay (oakland, berkeley, etc.). but the city (sf) is nice to visit. you should come. the weather's pretty nice year round.
