Who listened to this mornings show? What did you think? I'm not sure that it was such a great show actually. The Tranny Rachel thing dragged for far too long and they seemed lost in other parts of the show. Granted, every member of the team has their moments, and the tranny thing was funny at first - but they seem to be lacking something.

I thought today's show was ok, although the Tranny Rachel parody was crap.

And I'd love to see Will or even Rhys come back, but i doubt that'll ever happen full time.

The first hour and a half was quite good today I though, especially the talk of Dom's girl's Christening - and the talk of what boys she'd bring home when she was grown up.

Then...Tranny Rachel came along. Now, I don't mind them playing with the echo machine and the mics - in fact I think it can be a good laugh most of the time (see Dave's ramble voice today). Tranny Rachel I can take or leave, mostly it's not awful but it seems to be a joke that has gone on too long. The parody though was clearly awful. At best it should have been a 20 second clip of them doing a voiceover to the sexy back song instead of however long it went on for - even Moyles cut it short in the end saying "that's enough for now".

Someone said the song might have been intentionally awful, and perhaps it is although Moyles does have a tendancy to stick with crap features recently and just claim they are "ironic" - ie Celeb Tarzan and the Pub Quiz.
