I heard a rumour Chris was leaving in September cos he's been offered tv work by itv, a primetime quiz along the lines of who wants to be a millionaire. He's also had a fallout with bosses at radio 1.

he wont be leaving in September- he has signed a two year contract with Radio 1 and they always announce three months in advance.

Sounds like a load of crap to me. Even if Chris was going to work in TV, i doubt he'd quit Radio 1.

Fallen out with bosses? I find that hard to believe, given his ratings. But then there is the whole "no-one is bigger than the station" ethos which some leaders like to enforce from time to time...

wouldnt it be good for him to host a show WITH someone else, not comedy dave but perhaps one of the guests that he gets along really well with such as davina mccall or billie piper I know tv hasnt really been his thing but he's such a good laugh it would be good for him to survive just a small thought
