I like Chris Moyles but the shows have been very lack lustre since coming back of holiday. I don’t know if its the heat but the team seem very bored lately especially Dave who just seems to turn up. Having just had a two week break they should be fully refreshed with new ideas and stories from there travels. The whole show comes across as its made up as they go along complete with the odd working of an old feature! More guests and new features please!! Keep it fresh Chris !!

The show has always seemed liked it's made up as they go along, and i've always liked it that way. I'd rather have that, than the overly planned out, fake sounding Scott Mills.

Agree, I think there all very much coasting and have been for some time. I think chris feels untouchable and so has let his standards slip. I used to lov ethe show, now its just about OK. The bit swith JK and joel are good, praps they should get rid of aled dom and racheal and have a chris dave joel and jk foursome

and Aled Dom and Rachel provide some of the best comedy moments, getting rid of them for JK and Joke would be a huge mistake.

I've been doing my job for 10 years and whenever I take a break even if it's only for a week, it takes me that long to get back in to the swing of things. Worst thing in the world is coming back to your job after some time off, you forget how to do everything and where everything is 'cos you're brain is just switched off to thinking like that. And I don't have to worry about pleasing 6 million people.

As has been said elsewhere on the site (probably by MC) the best bits of the show past and present come from spontaneous moments.

I just think the show isn't funny anymore. I'm having real thoughts about switching off. There are no features, no non-scripted jokes and no good music. The Mystic Horse thing is the most stupid "feature" I've ever heard, it's not even a feature, just a 10-minute waste of time. Today's only highlight was Level 42

oh come on....for 600,000 grand i dont think id have any trouble getting up at 5. And thats what hes been doing for years now, so hes more than used to it. Some of you on here really cant see the wood for the trees through your moyles tinted specs

I don't agree, the show's are still funny, and especially the Monday Moring handover with JK and Jowell, was very funny. Dave is a complete wally, and really doesn't deserve to be on the show, Dom is so much better, I think Dave should go, we should have a petition

I don't think the shows are any better or worse than they have ever been. The show has evolved as Chris has matured over the years. In my eyes it's like trying to decide which is the better football team, 1966 England squad or 2006 England squad (minus injuries etc..) it can't be done and can be argued either way till the end of time unless someone invents a time machine.

Trying to compare Chris now with Chris then doesn't work because he's not the same man he was 8 years ago. None of us are.

It's always easier to look back on things the way they were and romanticise about how great things were back then. Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

Its difficult for Chris what with Dave being his best mate and all that. However Chris Moyles is no bigger than BBC Radio 1 overall and the quality of output & listener figures really is all what matters to Mr Parfitt. On the team - Dom is a naturally funny person and should get allot more credit for the sucess of show. Dave when he wants to be sparks now and again with some cracking one-liners. Carrie however maybe its time to move on I don't thing she brings anything to the biggest breakfast show in the country.

i think the funniest person that is realy trying to make us laugh is Dom he keeps adding a little bit that makes us all chuckle

maybee we need a new look to the show certainly a quiz at the end like cpark catchphrase or bb busters where they could make it just as funny and spontanious

Yes, but there's a difference between acting stupid for a joke, and not being able to pass questions that wouldn't even make a Year 3 SATS paper.
I completely agree with anyone that says Dom is the funniest member. More features around his person would be good for the show

Exactly, he got the name because he wasn't funny although he's good at writing random stuff.

People forget there aren't any natural comedians on the show and none of them try to be really funny, the funniest stuff as in real life happens off the cuff or more frequently by accident.
