The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

On the eve before tickets will be received, this is an appropriate time to start the topic! I am from Dundee so have a better chance than most! Is anyone coming up even if they don't have tickets? If anyone wants to know anything about nightlife, restaurants, bars etc just post here. I have just turned 18 so know all the good places to go for a good night out! Does anyone know where Chris will be staying, would love to meet him! Good luck to all who have applied for tickets!

It will be fake bids to try and ruin the sales. Fake accounts that wont pay, so the seller would have to relist, but as the event is Saturday there wont be time etc.

That's a shame, but I guess you really shouldn't be flogging them. Around here people were just going to give them to their mates that could go.

If you aren't going but know someone who is, why not get them to give you a ring so you can listen down the phone?
It's not the same as being there but you do get a sense of the atmosphere :)

apparently not the majority of dundee.

and because of this they are planning a protest at the gates. i think dundee and the scots have been ripped of by the bbc's lies.

why when its in scotland you allow the whole of the uk to get tickets whereas in sunderland, manchester it was just the locals and the completely dedicated long distance travellers could get tickets!

one word. SHAFTED!

Oh well, get over it. If it was in my area and I didn't get tickets I'd just live with it

Have to agree with you. I mean sure kick up a fuss, but it seems to them to be the end of the world. I'd just be chuffed with the publicity.

i am over it. i can see the majority of them at T anyway, bar muse.

just think thats a blatant two fingers up to the scots!

"come on you englanders, come to jockland leave your mark in camperdown then get back home."

tickets should have been 75% dundee. 25% rest of scotland. and anyone else who wants to go can just get lucky on the radio.

Bollocks, it's a national radio station - there has to be availability for the whole area that it covers. No I'm not going and no I didn't apply for tickets before you ask, so it wouldn't affect me anyway, but what you're suggesting is lunacy.

You'd probably have a 100ft banner with your mills website address on.

I think Jono would be pretty pissed off he didnt get tickets if OBW in Norfolk.

bollocks! did the rest of the country get to go to sunderland? naw if any brummys, scouse or scots wanted to go, it was a long drive up and down to get tickets.
and when you hear bands saying its gonna be great cos of the scottish crowd. naw its no, its a brittish crowd now.

it's DUNDEE's weekend. let dundee enjoy it, like every other city has for previous ones!

Well maybe they should have had the tickets online in previous years... There is nothing wrong with what has happened this year.

Like I said - national radio station, national coverage.

There's no point making a fuss about it. If you have a complaint regarding the allocation of tickets for the event, get in touch with the bbc complaints department. Or better still, wait for Aled to reply and see what he says. Maybe the computer messed up or some person at radio 1 was having a laugh and thought, hey, lets piss bumheed7 just for the hell of it.

No doubt other people are slightly bothered by it - but being there isnt much differences from listening to on the radio or the internet. Okay, that might be agrued slightly but hey - I wouldnt be bothered if R1 appeared in my town and I didnt get a ticket. I'd just find other ways of getting in.

To be honest - i'm looking forward to the fact it'll be over fairly soon. They haven't stopped talking about it for the last couple of months. Its pretty much being drilled into our ears every other link.

Of course they'll be chatting about it for the next couple of weeks and playing countless clips over and over again. But still give it a few weeks and it'll be all back to normal again.

Sat is up Thanks Ian
