True, but you don't need a license if you only have a radio.

that is a bloody disgrace.
and to think he regularly mentions that the bbc dont pay him enough. whether this is tongue in cheek is irellevant.
and sara cox on 200k? that is shocking. scott mills is being shat on from great heights (despite earning a load compared to the majority of the country!)

Moyles probably feels that if he was in the commercial sector he would be worth quite a bit and so plays on it, like most of Moyles on air, take it with a pinch of salt.

Well if you read the thread you'll see the BBC issued a statement saying they weren't happy someone had leaked the figures.. which seems to suggest its true.

Following a recent team member's blog (if you're reading - you should write more when you're pissed) I hope some of these people mentioned are given their p45's

There are people losing their jobs, yet they pay some of their presenters stupid amounts of cash. :P

There was another article today in The Sun about the members of staff being banned from discussing it on air and that they weren't getting on at present. And a bit about Jo Whiley's jet...

I think he'd be wise not to so not to get peoples back's up.

I can't see how he could approach it. Making a joke about it wouldn't really go down well with the fellow Dj's and co-workers I suspect, especially since it's been leaked during the redundancies. Even though it would fit with his on air persona to mention it I think it might piss too many co-workers off.

They could sneekily make a jokey jingle about it I guess.

Just thought I would say this.....
The wages seen in the sun were all based on contracts..some signed up to 5 years ago.

Scott gets paid less than Coxy beacuse it is based on a contract he signed in May 2004:
Colin Murray gets paid less than Edith Bowman because its based on a contract he signed whilst doing Zane's Show:
Coxys pay packet is based on the long term contract she signed in mid-2003 (whilst on brekkie)
