I've been reading some of the criticism of the new features on the show. I think its simply a case of Chris n Dave growing up a lot of the old stuff was pretty juvenile and studenty and it seems a lot of people on this board still have the same mindset they had 6 yrs ago when they probably were students or at school. I'm not saying the new stuff is that good I agree with the comments about the interviews being cringe-worthy to listen to. I think Chris just needs a new direction to take the show in and definitely get rid of rachel, dom n carrie and involve aled more.

no he aint i dont buy that geeky im thick act he puts on he's supposed 2 b a newsreader! i think get dom on it is ok but they dont do it enough! and when they do and its funny they just overkill it.

That's one of the many good things about the chris moyles show - that is the unique style that it is, with the childish humour and overkill of numerous jokes. Without it, it just wouldn't be the same.

maybe i'm going back on my word but i don't think they ever 'overkill' a joke too much, but the show has to appeal to everyone, so they might mention things a couple of times for people who are just dipping in and out of the show.

anyway, i'm just rambling... At the moment, I really like the format of the show and enjoy listening every day... nuff said...

For one thing, people moan too much. If you don't like it, switch it off....

Chris can't cater for 'everyone' so to speak. I think some people don't like the radical change from his Afternoon show to Mornings.

There hasn't been any "radical" changes at all. Just a mild toning down to appeal to a wider audience.

Once again, we "moan" because we care. If we don't like something on the show that doesn't mean we don't like anything on the show. If something is bad we'll say, likewise if there is a hilarious show we'll point that out as well.

i think he was best on early breakfast cos it was so low profile he could basically say and do wot he wanted and nobody cared! the breakfast show doesnt suit his style its too restricting i would love 2 see him back on earlys, just him and dave like it used 2 b.

They do overkill loads, especially now they're on breakfast. Look at the Village Idiot feature from a few weeks ago. It was hilarious until Chris started rambling on at the end about how he wanted to 'just try something else' and he just bungled it up and couldn't get it to work. He made up for this by saying "THE PHONE SYSTEM'S AN IDIOT!!". Not even slightly funny. If they'd have finished it after they were answering the calls it would have been classic radio, instead he dragged it out and it lost its edge.

Are you crazy? You sound like you never heard his Westwood impressions a couple of months back. And him in the Michael Owen interview the other day. To name but a few. The guy is great.

How anyone could want to get rid of Dom is beyond me. Quite often he is the funniest one on the show.

Yeah, Dom is great, I wouldn't like to see him leave. Nor Comedy Dave. Rachel and Carrie I could take or leave, no offence intended. Aled's rarely on before 9 and he also posts on here, so he's cool.

ok i was wrong about Dom he's cool maybe just plays up to that geek thing a bit 2 much. Like when he rates a good looking female and he's supposed to say I'd give her 1 but gets it totally wrong!
