The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Yes, but it is Chris's choice to involve them in on air conversation. They are not trying to be funny, they are there for Chris to take the piss out of mostly. At the end of the day it is The Chris Moyles show, not the Carrie and Rachel show. I know that Dom and Dave bring a lot of "amusement" to the show, but don't you think if a funny woman came to the show, it would cause a clash with Chris's style and end up being a bit bird and bloke local radio?

Not really. Dave, Aled and Dom don't steal the limelight from Chris and I find them all very funny. I just don't see what Rachel, Carrie and Josh's speaking parts add to the show.

Yeah, I agree about Rachel and Carrie, they're dull. The shows were so much better when it was just Chris, Dave and Ben/Rhys/Will. Especially Will, he was the best thing ever to grace the Chris Moyles Show. Such a shame he left.

Whoa... too much anti Rachel lol!

Carrie I agree doeesn't do alot to improve the show, then again, she's a sport monkey and they never really have attracted much love from the team. Julliette was often the same, but still part of the on air family so I still haven't really settled on her replacement yet... even though it's been so long.

Rachel is a great character on the show imho... She has enough control of Moyles and is far more than the token girl. Producers can only produce the ideas that come from Moyles and Dave... I am a bit worried that the best feature they could come up with for the new year was Celebrity Tarzan, but the banter on the show is still top class... and still regularly aids me in missing the early bus to work!
Didn't Rachel used to produce the Saturday shows and didn't used to speak then? If as you suggest a strong female character is needed the show would, as fish heads said become very tin pot local "Boys view" "girls view" and they would have to come in at presenter level surely... which would unsettle the whole show.

Rachel didnt have such a huge role on the Saturday show, and that was good. Generally it was just "I've run the London Marathon you know".

I do agree, the show has become very cheesy/local radio recently. I know that there is certain elements that are supposed to be cheesy or a pisstake, like One Road Travel or the jingles, but the thing I always liked about Moyles before was, it wasnt cheesy.

I miss some of the features that meant listners rung in and got on air. OK I guess most of that had to be pre recorded during the records, but now they say something, and we hear about the text message system! Moyles V the public always used to make the Saturday shows great... even stupid features like girls going to football matches!

Surely there's sill a place on the show for Frog or Dog!!!

Just answering random phone calls was the best! The show is too structured now.

Saying that... it's still grrrrrrreat!

I agree in a way, but it is the breakfast show so has to be structured - and it is clearly working.

Rachel is alright, yes we all know Will was funnier, but she has been there so long now it would seem odd without her.

Hope they get there act together soon else they will be losing all the listeners its gained.

Moyles is great and has had my in stitches on many occasions.

There is nothing else out there that comes close to him which is why he is 1 of only 2 Radio 1 dj's i can listen to (other Scott Mills).

Well we can all feel reassured now microchip has spoken.

Think the show is sounding good at the moment; the jingles have been thought out, the features still sound quite fresh and the team have had some good on-air discussions. Haven't been hearing all of the shows recently, but the trails for the shows are good and Chris is sounding even better with the Great BRITs week.

You are nice to me, aren't you...

(notice the irony)

P.S. What's the difference between sarcasm and irony?

Irony is where the literal meaning of a sentance is the direct opposite of it's actual meaning. Sarcasm is a subset of irony, where the intention behind the works is to hurt the other person.

I loved the show when it was on in the afternoons, but ever since moving to breakfast I am really beginning to disklike the Chris Moyles show.

His features are really bad and very 'local radio', I've heard better ideas in the past. Celebrity Tarzan!!!! Who's idea was that! If it was mine I would be embarrased!!

He relies on being sarcastic and taking the piss out of people in order to get a quick laugh - sarcasm is the lowest form of wit remember...

For some strange reason, dave doesnt say as much as he used to, maybe its because he cant get a word in edgeways what with all the other team being 'spotlight grabbers'. Any opportunity for the Rachel to yak on and she's there.....also 'The Fabulous Dominic...'....get off your high horse!!!

Yesterdays Weather?!?!?! Who ACTUALLY wanted to know what the weather was like yesterday? ...it wasn't funny!!

One road travel used to be good - remember they're broadcasting across the whole of the UK and therefore any major accidents should be announced - NOW it is some stupid caller being 'funny' talking about whats going on in their village. That ISNT travel information and it ISNT funny...it isnt even interesting!

As mentioned earlier by somebody, all Carrie does is whittle on about which sportsman she fancies - I DONT CARE!

Every morning is so repetitive and dull that I am just blanking what is being said and just listening to the music now.

I am ashamed because I used to love the show....maybe its the curse of the breakfast slot - who knows - but this slot is going to be the death of the Moyles show.

The show is really going downhill...

Oh...and he is jealous of Scott Mills......

The whole point of the show at the moment is to take the pee out of local radio. I don't think you really understand Celebrity Tarzan, One Road Travel, Yesterday's Weather, etc.

Perhaps Christian O'Connell is actually for you. Or alternatively spend your morning listening again to Scott.
