How is it that, according to the light on the sofa, the light source in the room is in the top right, but according to the shadow next to the frame (which makes the frame look a good few cm from the wall) it's in the top left? Surely you didn't fake that picture as well?

Wrong matey, used the stencil to etch the image onto the canvas, then painted the canvas!!!!
