I actually read that this morning. We don't quite have delict this term, we do it later in more detail, so I may survive. We briefly did it in Criminal Law/Private Law. I do hope I can scrape passes in this exams...

Its a really good case to know back to front. We had to learn huge quotes from it for our 1st year exams.

Criminal law is a rotten exam. It seems easy at the time as its quite interesting but loads of people in my class failed. Its much easier in real life.

Am having a bad afternoon at work. A young boy (aged 5) peed in my office today. Kids these days.

Yes.. I have 69 pages of typed lecture notes, and so many cases. It's fine enough knowing what the crimes are, but knowing authority for everything is a bit of a nightmare.

Crikes, I wouldn't have liked to clean that up.

Can somebody explain to me what the hell the Donoghue v Stevenson case is?

Looks like someone found a rotting snail in their ginger beer and took the manufacturer to court.

Yes, I think they claimed it caused them shock and gastric problems. I think previously, the manufacturer couldn't be held liable, but in this case they were. It's really not something I had to go into.

I get the joys of statutory interpretation and the Scottish Legal System today. I have 25 cases written on the fridge so everytime I want food/chilled alcohol I have to read them
