Ive been telling you the guy is crap for ages... but would you listen... no...

All you get is a bunch of Mills lovers who feel the need to post on ChrisMoyles.net

Maybe it just goes to show that the Mills websites are also crap, hence the reason their all here (everyday)!

Just a thought.

I hardly ever listen to Mills, but this week was quite dire. I do like some of the lines his partner comes up with though, Chappers? Started work on 3rd Jan like most people, so on the way to work I tuned in having forgotten Chris and the team were off for a week. Through the whole week I listen to his show but it hardly ever raised a smile.

To make things worse, I downloaded the podcast just to get a recap but ended up deleting that pretty sharpish lol. Also Carpark Price is Right...can you get much worse!? Brucey sounds so unfunny it's sad, and it just makes me want to whack the nearest person to me!

Indeed.

Lego is good.

I've gotta say I didn't think the bits I heard this week were too bad. At least now the repetitive celebrity calls have gone! Laura's Diary is good to listen to, but I can't help wondering whether Chappers and Scott just sit down and make it up! Plus I'm surprised, but Flirt Divert hasn't yet become stale for me.

Still, will be good to have Chris back.

Paul.

The celebrity calls were ace. Much better than Laura's (made up) Diary.

The Axel Foley Celebrity call was absolutely genius, has me in stitches every time I hear it. Each to their own I guess.

everything on the Mills show you sense is set up somehow and not as real as you are led to believe.

Sometimes its funny, sometimes its not.

I heard somewhere that the "Celebrity" calls are actually just normal people from behind the scenes of the show ringing up and saying the set phrases they know they have of celebrities then when they have finished the call they edit the normal person from behind the scenes of the show's voice with the celeb clips.

Don't know how true that is though

some of the calls where chappers pretends to be people it sounds like he has been added later on.

Yeah I truly believe most things we hear on Moyles show is happening as it goes along, and in that respect we're almost part of the show... but Mills seems like EVERYTHING is written before hand.

i think you're all being a bit harsh.

yes, we all love moyles, thats why we're here but sometimes recently his shows have been so dull and gloomy i've arrived at work in a right mood.

Scott always manages to make me smile. do you know what? i don't give a s**t if some of his features are pre rec'd or contrived - i'd rather get a laugh out of that then listen to another show where chris isn't on form and moaning.

i think moyles needs a kick up the arse. i just hope there's some decent features to listen to tomorrow

i think you need to read most of our views in context. I think Mills is good and I agree with you on Moyles but what I said above is also true.

Does anyone know if still does the celebrity call segment?

I had a call at work with someone playing arnie voice clips down the end of the line.

Personally, I don't like Mills at all. He always picks people who want the worst songs ever on "your call", and all of his shows sound very, very pre-recorded. The callers in are fake, today one girl was supposed to be "on a train". Some problems I had with this: No background noise at all, not even from the train or from other people, also...she's listening to the radio on the train...on the way to see her ex-boyfriend? It shouldn't have been that long a journey because she said she met him on Friday so why would she be ringing up to request a song? WHY?!?!

I just hate him...

Hate him, or his show. You have to know something (or someone) to hate it, and I doubt you know Scott Mills.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Scott's show, although I'm a long way from hating it. Some parts are funny, but others just aren't my sense of humour. However, I would currently rank Mills as the second best DJ at the station.
