Why does Chris keep dropping hints that he might be leaving at christmas, his contract is runing out, he is having arguments with the boss etc.

Surely this can't be good news- and at 6.55am he told JK "his contract runs out at Christmas". However, theyt would have announced the news by now wouldnt they?

Im a wee bit worried!
Can ALED shed any light on this?

Folks, this is highly improbable.

Given the consistent ratings success of Moyles and its knock-on effect on the whole station, I doubt very much that Radio 1 would be willing to let go of him.

I personally think Aled's taking the piss, although it's a little irresponsible of him if it's not true, seeing as he can be seen legally as an official representative of the show.

Look at it this way.. If this story was true, would Aled be confirming it before it's been announced publically? - the guy to spill that one of the nations biggest breakfast DJs is leaving? - i don't think so.

Aled's blatantly taking the pee to milk the reaction, if this was true Aled would get killed and likely lose his job or something for leaking it

Theyre going to NY for a trip, R1 would be fools to let Moyles go and i would imagine go far to meet any contract requirements he has, hes got the biggest breakfast audience for a while.. thats not something the BBC will want to give up on easily

Also, why would Moyles want to leave R1 for something like Galaxy? - it doesn't make sense

And finally, why would the BBC have a new advertising campaign for Moyles' show, if they knew he was leaving, they wouldn't have wasted their money..

I really hope it's bull, but you have to look at this sensibly before getting into a panic
