What's that Sting Rings feature all about?

As it started with Chris phoning Scott Mills (I think), I though it was a play on words, as I expect Scott's 'ring' often stings!... However, now I'm not so sure, as it has turned into a regular feature of phoning up listeners. Also, how would somebody register to receive a Sting Ring phone call?

Do any of you out there know?...

Sting Rings is one of the feature name that was text'ed in before they went on holiday, and consists of Chris ringing a person up and playing Sting songs down the phone to them, it's just that simple. Also, Scott wasn't the first, actually, the feature had been going for 2/3 weeks by the time it got to be his turn.

Scott and other DJs were "stung" on the feature during the DJs go home week. Just for the record, "Roxanne" is my favourite of the clips
