I can't remember who said that (some play writer I think), but they're right. When famous people die, jokes are almost certain to be made about it. When Diana (Princess of Wales) died, jokes came out the next day, the same with 9/11. Humour is a major way in which people deal with pain and suffering.

Chris making jokes about something could be seen as a way to deal with his pain at the death of this person, although I doubt that's the case. I'd never even heard of him before and as such couldn't care less. Don't get me wrong, if someone I'd actually heard of had died then I might be a bit more emotional about it (although I doubt it), and if it had been a member of my family, or a friend then I would probably be upset, but I wouldn't expect everyone else to be.

I think some of you people take Chris' comments way too seriously, he's joking around, I doubt he means to upset the family of this dead 'star', but that's who Chris is, and I don't know about the rest of you, but it's why I listen.

Anyway, I am starting to change my opinion of Moyles. I still like his show and I have always known he has a massive ego, but he is being downright insensitive and nasty with these comments and those of Best Mate. He had no need to make light of either death the way he did.

And the way he dismisses the occupations of CC contestants is out of order. I used to think he was just having a laugh, but just recently I have realised that he is actually seriously mocking them with his put downs. It isnt what he says, more how he says it and the obvious meaning behind it.

Even if people are seemingly joking when they say something, nine times out of ten it is based in a genuine opinion.

Listen, bollock brain, I wasnt refering to the Roy Walker clips.Where did I even mention Roy Walkers name. I stated quite clearly what I was on about. And anyway, I am fully aware of Moyles humour and 99% of the time I enjoy it. Clearly the way he frequently has a go at Rachel and Aled and how he impied Georgina was a slag today was a joke. I am perfectly able to differentiate between humour and arrogance,rudeness, pomposity etc


Anyway I knew someone would reply saying what you said. That is why I delayed my post for so long. I know how you interpret what Moyles says on CPC to be a joke and, for the most part, so do I. I also thought the dismissal of peoples occupations was a joke as well, but just listen to how he says it with a snigger day after day and you will realise that he is actually totally serious.

People like you put me off message boards. I mention the thing about him putting down peoples jobs and you turn it into me not understanding the whole CPC routine. I only ever mentioned the occupation thing.
