The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Wow . . . Ricky Gervais appearing on The Chris Moyles Show. In radio terms, that was really Birnam Wood coming to Dunsinane. I was expecting to hear When Dom Met Mahatma Gandhi before The Chubby Funster® guested. Remember the last time Jo Whiley interviewed him? He flat refused even to hear the name of Chris Moyles.

Is this a turning-point in public opinion? Precipitated, inadvertently, by Mark Lamarr's hilarious 'schtick' of finding eye-wateringly inventive ways of saying "I don't like Chris Moyles", "I don't like Geri Halliwell", "I don't like Robbie Williams" and "I don't like Blue" for half an hour every bloody week? The quiet drama of Moyles' Joycean digressions wins out in the end. I just wish he'd play Art Brut.

I think they are saying...

"I never thought Mr. Gervais would appear on Chris Moyles's show. Maybe he is more popular with the public nowadays. Isn't Mark Lamarr a silly billy?"

I can't believe that Chris didn't let any of the three contestants win a part on "Extras", sure they weren't great but no one has been this week.

Those three contestants had probably been looking forward to this morning and probably got their friends and family to listen only for Chris to ruin their big day and tell them they're rubbish.

It was a rotten thing to do and Chris should be ashamed of himself.

If the sycophants in the background had any professionalism about them, they would've told Chris that he couldn't do that, but no,they can't disagree with the big man,yes Chris is always right and he's always so funny!

It's a bit like when a girl I knew (of) went to see a comedian (think it may have been Jimmy Carr), sat in the front and had the mickey taken out of her, then complained about it afterwards, what did she expect, just like the contestants today (who were crap)

I sit at the front at comedy gigs so I can get the piss taken out of me. Much more fun that way, especially at smaller gigs

I went to see Ross Noble on tour last night (comedy legend) - and for pretty much the whole show he was taking the piss out of this 14 year old scally right at the front. You expect it.

Having said that, this whole Extras feature has being boring as hell anyway - if they have to do it then get it done early, not at primetime.

I missed it too - but I think that guy tells it pretty well, you can deduce most of it from that.

The only one I can think of like that at the moment is Will Young.

Remarks:
Friday 11th November 2005

The Ozzy Osbourne interview was really, really, funny!

Especially when 'Comedy' Dave Vitty was on about how he got Christopher Moyles a Satsuma for a Christmas Day Present!

I mean imagine getting a Satsuma for your Christmas Day Present. Vitty must of beed really tight!

Good to hear the Official Prince Of Darkness has got a new signal coming out soon. I'll be sure to purchase my copy from HMV soon!

I think "it grows on you" is a euphemism for "it's awful"

With Ozzy just about to come in the studio,Chris could hardly say what he really thought of it.

You're asking for trouble when you cover a Beatles song but that version of "In My Life" is particularly bad,I would say it's one of the worst songs of the last few years,Ozzy just can't sing anymore!
