they just said they'd nicked him from the chris moyles show. nothing actually about moyles himself... which was a pity, I was wanting something to be said!

Chris Evans isn't suited to Radio 2. He's too lively and exciting for what is other wise a dull network.

Yeah, the few times I've listened it's been good - I like Ross' show. Wogan is dull though. Sorry Wogan fans I just can't warm to him.

The sad thing about Evans is that I do think he has talent and could be good on Radio 2 if he was willing to adapt his style for a station with a more mature audience. However today's show was a cross between his old radio 1 show/ Chris Moyles/ Steve Wright and he somehow managed to take the worst elements from each. Dropping the sidekicks it would be a good start.

I see someone else made the point that the Chris Evans webpage on Radio 2 online is almost exactly the same style as the Moyles page on Radio 1 online, however thats most likely because Geordie Kid is doing the Evans site now.

Similarly the Tim Lovejoy podcast from Virgin Radio was hacked together by someone who has no capability to add a fade anywhere.

I had a listen to that as well. It was truly awful quality, distorting all over the place. I hope it doesnt go out like that on the radio.

Evans' mini-site even has a running order and 'tell us what you think' section. Seems like lots of copying. Was the running order placed on Moyles' site slightly influenced by the fact that this site had reviews?

thats cause Geordie Kid is doing the Evans website. So chrismoyles.net has technically influenced the Chris Evans official Radio 2 site.
