The fact is they were both unmeasurable atrocities targeted against civilisation as we know it. The 9/11 (or 11/9 - good job our ones were 7/7 otherwise the yanks would just get confused with our date system) attacks may have claimed more lives but it doesn't make them any the more evil (or rather, it doesn't make the London attacks any the less evil, as would be a more appropriate way of putting it).

Their dating system almost annoys me as much as "color" and "soccer".

Well yeah, but surely the terrorists set out to kill as many people as possible. The fact that less than 100 people died has to be better than anything higher.

Of course the end result was slightly better than it would have been had more people been killed, that goes without saying. But these people still only have one very dangerous motive in mind.

At the end of the day they're quite capable of doing far worse than they have done even for 11 September, but it doesn't take away from the fact that it was a terrible thing.

Yeah, the 24,000 killed in the tsunami wasn't even slightly tragic.

but it WAS in a different year...

dumbass
just goes to show how crap this year started, and has carried on as it started.

For those not bothering to watch it, let me explain last nights "gripping tension".

A man walks into the jungle looking for a dog.

Man hears rustling in the undergrowth (woooooo, dog or beast?).

Man hears muffled roars and starts to panic.

Man turns round and runs back to the beach in what appears to be some kind of chase!

Man runs into a half dressed oriental woman washing her arm pits!!!

Man forgets about both the chase and pursuing beast and hands her, her bra!

Film crew, director, story, whatever, all do the same (forget).

Man leaves woman.

American TV at it’s very best.

So there stuck on that island for hell of a long time then, eh?

Flame - one vital gripping moment you missed. They tried to kill the US Marshal but failed. Why didnt he shoot him in the head...

Can you watch it and sum it up more often?) It saves me checking the official site (which is rather good I might add)

Every episode represents a day so not as long as the French Woman.

There's plenty they can do with the story. After what the black woman said last night (episode 4 of off E4) I'll bet the planes tail is on the island with more survivors.
