I do hope he watched it, as it going to be around for 20 or so weeks... So there will be plenty to rant about....

I didn't watch lost, but I think I read about it a while ago, isn't it another reality tv show about people stuck on an island, or am I thinking of something else? Also, would this be the original American one, or a new British one?

its something that British TV doesn't make a drama that is slightly weird but also (mostly) credible. Over here it seems you have completely serious or completely ridiculous (Dr Who). Not that they can't be good... just its something different.

Yeah, it's ok. Needs a while to get going. The first episode was a bit slow, but the second was a lot better.

What's credible about an oversized Polar Bear running around the jungle. Fool.

Maybe its credible because a few of the survivors decided to go hiking up a mountain after seeing trees swaying “wildly”, hearing “roars”, or just witnessing a pilot getting ripped out of a * and left up an umbongo tree”.

I saw the first 2 episode of Lost at the weekend. I was going to watch the rest of the series but I went to the website, and after 26 episodes in season one, and season two has just started, they are still Lost. I dont think I will bother watching it now.

Hope I didnt spoil it for anyone.

I downloaded the series from the states, doesnt really step up another gear until episode 9 or 10 but then gets very good if you're into a bit of fantasy and mystery.

People are picking holes in it already (like the polar bear thing) but it all gets explained in one way or another in due course.

why is it? has been a pretty crappy year so far, just second to 2001 at the moment in my book.

back on topic, I don't see how they can eke more than a season out of Lost, I thought it was more of a mini-series of the kind done countless times before.
