I heard a rumour that Comedy Dave is leaving Radio 1 in February when his contract expires. Has anybody heard anything about this?

He'll probably sign a new one. Can't see Chappers & Dave's world tour taking him too far

Then again whenever people are leaving, they trail it on the show but wait a little while before revealing the Who and When of it... pretty much the way they did with Juliette isn't it?

I like Carrie but miss Juliette as I liked her more. See her on BBC N24 occasionally and I think she's on 5live a bit now.

no, Moyles without him now would seem wrong. That said, people probably felt the same way about Will when he left.

Moyles and Dave are a team. It wouldnt sound right without them together now. I guess they would be good apart, but it would be a case of Mark & Lard, better together than apart. Besides, i dont think they are sick of each other yet

There's nowt wrong with the Chuckle Brothers. At least I don't record their shows and keep winding it back to write down every word they say.

Don't critics say Moyles was at his best on the Early Bit?
Most of it was pre-Dave and i think Dom would make a good replacement if he was given more of a role.

You mean pre-Dave, but it wasn't.

Dave joined the show full time towards the start of 1998 so he was actually around for the majority of it.
