I can see where Gaspode's coming from, Arrested is hard to get into if you havent seen the first few eps - I know that happened when I told my mates about the show. However when I leant them the DVD, their love for the show increased.

I also agree about Seinfeld - never seen the fuss about that at all. Decidedly average

i agree that arrested development is something you really need to watch all of to "get", but it's still funny enough.

No, I was going to download it - but heard bad things. I hear even that apart from the first episode - the new series of Family Guy isn't too hot either

i think it's because they know people like it, they're not trying as hard. i really hated american dad when i thought fox wanted to replace arrested development with it. i still think fox is stupid.

Yeah, they have cancelled too many good shows in their prime. Annoying that Arrested Development's S2 order got cut. Nice to see there is a S3 coming (and possibly s4 as well).

I liked seinfeld and larry sanders, but can't stand malcolm in the middle, especially since one year (its first I think) it claimed to be funnier than the simpsons....

I also find Will and Grace watchable for some reason, probably coz it's less obvious than Friends.

also i have a contention with the simpsons being comedy genius. yes its funny but there are a lot of poor episodes thrown in as well.

Yeah, but the best episodes make up for that. Some of them are true classics. I don't think there's 1 which is lame all the way through.

The 2001 episodes were the last "new" episodes to air on terrestrial. 2005 ones are on Sky 1.

It did go stupid in Seasons 10/11/12, but its back on form and better than a heck of a lot of other stuff at the moment.
