What did everyone think of the American version of the office last night?
I thought it was kak especially american tim he was trying soooo hard to be like british tim- but failing. Din't make me laugh once

Seen the entire series and it just can't live up to the original, specially not for us Brits, might be a different story for the Americans though.

Actually, this series is one of the few where I just couldn't watch a whole episode in one sitting as it was so boring.

It's just the same as the british version, eg: copying storylines and jokes like the merger of two branches and putting a stapler in some jelly, apart from that, it wasn't too bad

Apprently only the 1st one copies the british one, the rest go off on their own.

Didn't see it though, don't have bbc3

I found it funny, but probably because every scene was the same as the british one so I was just thinking about the british one.

Oh, how controversial, although I completely agree with you, but I would have also included the first two seasons as well. Never liked 'Friends', although the American office is worse, and amazingly less funny.

I liked something about Friends when it started, then it just got predictable, even for american tv.

I caught the 1st episode earlier on BBC3, I had to turn it off after 15mins. It was terrible. I never knew how much I loved Ricky Gervais until I saw the American version.

I flicked back to Men Behaving Badly. Twas a tough choice between that and Shameless. But Ive seen Shameless a lot now, so MBB was a nice change.

i dont think i have seen that episode of men behaving badly before.. was childish humour at the right time of night for us kids.

I suppose Red Dwarf was a bit of a cult series, but I loved it, as did a whole lot of other people. Obviously wasn't for everyone though. What comedy series did/do you like then?

Men Behaving Badly is childish, and thats cool! I had never seen that episode either, but admittingly Im sure there is many I havnt seen. I know I havnt seen any of the first series with Harry Enfield in it.
