I did mine last year and they were a lot harder then. Are they doing a lower paper or something

Probably. Lets face it they aren't the most intellectual bunch of people are they.

GCSE's seemed difficult at the time but A-Levels are much worse..

A levels were harder than my degree and the exams im doing at the moment. only problem now is you have to work an study.

Well I'm on study leave at the moment so stupidly asked for loads more hours at my part time work, thinking it would be ok.

Hence - virtually no revision done, less than two weeks until A-Levels.

sh*t.

Well Aled got a D, Dave got a D and Chris got a D (or E?) So interesting theory you have. GCSEs are in no way easy, they may be for those 20 years older than the average 16 year old but for a 16 year old the majority are tough.

Also the majority are doing foundation - the highest they can get is a C. The higher paper is a big difference.

I found the higher paper easier than the foundation paper.

My teacher got it wrong and put me in the foundation level first and I got a "D", When I retook it at the higher level I got an A.
