Personally can't stand them, they're not as good as Mark and Lard, and listen to FiveLive in the afternoons.

im at work and im not allowed to. either radio 1 or power fm so i choose power fm between 1-3 then back to mills. i must say at the moment im not hating vermin as much as i thought i would. give it time!

Let me simply just spell out my opinion...

Spoony = Rubbish....always will be (I personally think he's there just to make sure weekday/weekend primetime shows aren't all white dominated).
Colin & Edith = Don't mind from time to time
Mills = Your "normal" drive-time DJ
Jo Whiley = Brilliant

Moyles = God!

I cannot stand the crap after the breakfast show on our own local station. All seems a bit phoney and scripted to me, like they're all robots. Also, another thing to point out is all this commercial "more music, less chat" shiznat stuff. Who wants more music? I certainly don't! Maybe for the housewife doing the housework all day though.

Just going back to Moyles, if he wasnt on Radio 1, I probably wouldn't be in hospital radio and wanting to try and take a career in Radio.

But generally, he's the best thing come out of Radio since the invention of sliced bread .

Liscencing Laws are very strict nowadays on what has to be played during a radio show - and usually the playlists are drawn up before the shows go on air. Your Call on Mill's show will probably be the same although seeing as though they get a considerable number of people requesting tracks it's more a case of picking a caller for the track!

Otherwise I agree mostly with your points but also rate Colin and Edith quite highly, I'd say on a level with Jo Whiley, but they're an entirely different type of show. Also there has been improvement recently, but Scott Mills is close to being one of those robots you mentioned.... or WAS anyways.

7. He is a garage DJ and not a mainstream DJ - if they couldn't find room for the Dreem Teem then Parfitt should have moved him on to 1Xtra.

Just like Spoony it's a regional accent thing, which I think is good as it adds variety to the station. All the DJs on local stations round here sound exactly the same to me.
