hey I have the body of an athlete.... Sumo wrestlers are athletes right?

I intend to pay it off as slowly as possible as effectively its interest free. Raising the limit to 15k gives me another 40 quid anyway.

Back on topic

For the first time in ages, I have actually found Formula One extremely boring and turned it off.

Seems when a german in a red car dominates, thats a crisis for the sport, but now a spaniard in a blue and yellow car dominates leading every single lap.

That in my opinion is absolutely no different, but seems the powers that be actually celebrate this, despite claims last season that it wasn't schumacher they were against, but anyone being that dominant. The hypocrisy continues in F1. *yawn*

You can't look at 1 race and say it was rubbish just because 1 person dominated because that's always going to happen. It's the season as a whole you need to look at. Ferrari are inevitably going to get back into it, which will almost certainly shake things up. It's shaping up to be a fantastic season.

Demonhorse, are you a Schumy fan by any chance?

So if it's exactly the same, but you watched it when Shumacher dominated, why are you now turning off?

Coz yes, I'm a schumacher fan, but I was close to turning off last year. Now the smugness of the commentary team and newspaper coverage after annoys me.

They all claim to be impartial and then comment on how schumacher is 'crap' this year etc (hating him of course for incidents that happened the best part of a decade ago now).... and they act like its good for the sport when Renault dominates...

Guess i'll try watching with sound off but then it is nowhere near the same experience.... maybe ill try ITV for pics but 5 live for commentary, but i get the feeling they have the same anti-schumacher stance while still claiming to be impartial.

Schumacher winning was worth watching, but I didn't see Alonso the same way. Not that I don't like him or anything, just not as much a fan as I am of schumacher.

Add in the fact that others like Montoya started winning toward the end of last year... despite this people still claim those races were 'processional' which is how they seem to me this year with new rules. I just read a quote from Trulli who said he didn't bother pushing too hard to chase Alonso, people actually tried last year to chase Ferrari down as it sometimes worked.

I personally have found it boring since Schumacher has been a proper dominant force and if someone else starts winning everything well that's just as bad. Yeah Schumacher is arguably the best driver in the history of F1, but it is boring if he or anybody else wins every race...

I don't think Renault are going to totally dominate this year.

That's what I'm saying, but people like it more now, and probably will if it continues. You're the first that's agreed with me on that. It's just I find a Schumacher win more watchable and people actually try to catch him, they may fail but at least they try, whereas 'racing' Alonso, Trulli didn't try to catch him.

Surely that's against the point of the sport, as are most of the rule changes.

Watch BTCC, last time I checked (admittedly a couple of years ago) it was far more entertaining.

Out of interest why didn't he finish the last couple of races? I heard on the news a couple of times "Schumacher failed to finish", but they didn't say why?

err in Australia it was a crash with Nick Heidfeld, then in Bahrain it was a gearbox/hydraulic failure. His teammate Barrichello had been having gearbox probs in practise and qualifying and had to have a new box fitted before the actual race on sunday, but Schumacher's had been the same one all weekend and looked fine until it broke during the race.
