Hello .. I'm probably going to regret this, but ... as part of the site redesign I am keen to refresh some of the pages through the site which are outdated or lacking – so this is your chance to let me know what you feel could be improved or added, and what you'd like to see appear.

This is the current to-do list:

• Update the rather-outdated 'About Us' page
• Add more to the 'Team Info' sections
• Add a page on the show Features, past and present
• Add a retrospective on Chris’s time in the afternoons

another forum members thing like last time.
some sort of excel type quiz involving moyles. i dunno pick a sound clip of him talking about someone and you have to guess who hes talking about. maybe a teletext bamboozle type 12 question game on moyles.
i dunno if this has been done but edit ask aled threads into a couple of pages where its like a Q & A.
anybody with internet java talent could do a spank the monkey type game instead doing a bang wills head against the studio window feature.

Add a retrospective on Chris’s time in the afternoons

Just to let people know, I have been working on this page for a bit - so if you have any information on the old afternoon show you wish to contribute then just send me an e-mail/pm. I'm not so hot on the shows first few years (98, 99, 2000) so any particular memories or show info you might have would be great.

One particular thing I would like help on is this - did Rhys and Melinda work on the afternoon show from the beginning, or was it Chris, Dave, Ben and Jude at first? If anyone knows then their help would be appreciated.

It was just Chris, Dave and Ben from what I can remember. If there was anyone else then they kept an off air role.

But I remember Moyles saying "Steve Lamacq gets a christmas party yet we cant get someone to answer our phones" so I think there was just the three of them.

Then Simon (Melinda) came on board, then afterwards Rhys replaced Ben.

Incidentally, if you visit this link - you can still find archived afternoon clips of Moyles in Real One (stuff not in The Sound Vault basically).

Includes clips of Chris's first 3 hour afternoon show from Feb 2001...

When the site was redesigned a few months ago someone mentioned adding a search engine to the site. I've found the script and made the relevant changes, so it only requires adding the following code to a page.

You were right - checked the archive and found it was in June 99. Ben moved to produce Jo Whiley's show.

Includes clips from the morning after England got knocked out of the 98 World Cup, plus Noel Edmonds on the phone (when him and Moyles were friendly), some stripper saying c*nt on True or False, David The Photographer on Viaduct - and Chris talking about getting a phonecall from Mark Lamarr after he did Buzzcocks (my favourite bit - is brilliant, he goes off into an awesome rant).

Btw I do realise this is very geeky and those links are for fellow Moyles anoraks only so apologies.

Following on from this, I have a couple of clips from old shows, a 20 minute chunk from the show in Eindhoven on 12/6/00, an hour from one of the American Road Trip shows in April 2002, a 10 minute chunk from the show on 13/8/02 and another little bit from the pre-Christmas show in the pub on 20/12/02. If you want them, just say and I'll upload them for you.
