When do JK and Joel start?

I.e. how many weeks do we have of Cox, but no JK and Joel?

Actually, just read on the radio 1 website that they start in March...

Does this mean we might get another Moyles chart?

What were his parting words? Did he ever mention leaving prior to the show/on the show?

He said it wasn't over till the fat lady sings and then played a clip of a fat lady singing (in true comic wes form), said thankyou to everyone, and then said: "This was a job I once never took for granted..." "...I have given 100% into all of my shows...".

Farewell Wes...

You failed to mention that after playing the clip of the fat lady, he goes in Scott Mills fashion:

"rrrrrrrrubish"

Made me laugh.

Yeah, I was hoping the same Sidla. Was hoping something along the lines of "well screw you BBC". But that would end any further BBC work.

No he won't - I don't think he's their type of DJ - he's more likely to end up at Radio 2 but I doubt even that cos he's not going straight to another BBC station is he.

Neither Five Live or Radio 2 would take on Wes even if they were given the chance, so that's completely out of the question.

It is more likely he'll go somewhere like Capital or Heart - the bigger ILR stations.

Hmm sounds like Mills and uses his catchphrases...

Yet more evidence that Scott Mills and Wes are ONE AND THE SAME.

Shame really, he could have been so much more.

I don't think so.

6 February - Colin Murray and Jo Whiley
13 February - Vernon Kay and Spoony - hmmm
20 February - Scott Mills and Nemone
27 February - Scott Mills and Edith Bowman

Vernon and Spooney has the potential for unintentional comedy genius.

its sounds like radio 1 bosses are afraid to get rid of sara cox. she lost listeners on the breakfast show, and when she moved to moyles old slot. That doesnt seem to justify messing up the schedule again and getting rid of a dj.
Btw, i think it will be great if they got westwood to do a chart. It was funny at one big sunday in 2002 when he introduced gareth gates. He was supposed to do a chart show when mark goodier left in dec 2002, but i cant remember it happening

and scott mills is the only one on two of em?
Is this just because he did the download chart?

I feel sorry for Nemone and Edith.

It didn't in the end, not sure why. I think Coxy did the one Westwood was supposed to do.
