who's next for the radio 1 chop...Sara Cox?, Tongy?, Peel? Whiley?

Like Splodge said, it makes perfect sense for Mills to get Coxy's afternoon show when she goes off to have her baby, with him continuing there permanently when she returns. Coxy will then get his weekend show with JK and Joel taking Colin & Edith's slot and them taking Mark and Lards. I also think Whiley will depart in the next 18 months or so with Nemone getting her gig and Vicky Marsden or a newcomer getting early breakfast.

That's obvious wahst going to happen. Either Scott or Colin and Edith will replace M&L and JK & Joel will replace the one that goes. Then Wes will get early mornings and Nemone moved back to weekends.

That won't happen. Nemone is doing well on weekdays and won't be relegated. I reckon Vicky Marsden or Emma B might get weekend lunchtimes at first, then Coxy when she returns with Mills staying permanently on afternoos.

It's not "officially" been confirmed but it's a pretty sure bet that it'll be Colin and Edith (this was discussed on page 2 of this topic). Therefore yes Adam that would probably mean JK and Joel getting their weekend slots. I can't see Parfitt putting them onto any weekday show to begin with (with the possible exception of a trial run on 2-4am).

Wes is great. I was really funny when on over Christmas. It would be good if he got a proper slot, he is wasted on the chart show.

I personally can't stand Steve Wright. I like Zoo format, but on Steve Wright they just clap at everything. And I personally don't think he is that funny either. But that might just be me...

I think Vicky's better than Nemone but they seem to have quite similar styles. I've only listened to Vicky when she was covering for Nemone though.

Same here. She is in my opinion the most underrated presenter at Radio 1 by far. Problem is though that she has been there for a good few years now and must only have had 10-20 daytime shows in total (if that plus most of them are at xmas/new year). Hopefully she'll do a good job if she does get to fill in in the short-term for Mills/Colin and Edith at the weekend, then maybe Parfitt might give her the job permanently.
