You wanna try only having 80 degrees bend in your knee! If I don't get a left hand window seat or a single seat, my leg is constantly sticking out into the aisle and getting in people's way. And cos I don't really look disabled, I'm always paranoid that people think I'm trying to take up more space and/or trip them up on purpose. It drives me mad.

Sorry to hear you have bother with your knee... my right knee locks up occasionally but isn't as bad as that. One of my knees are usually pressed up against the back of the seat and like you've mentioned, i have to have my other sticking out into the isle.

Yeah, mine has a solid block of scar tissue in it, it's never gonna bend any more than it does now. The physio used to put all his weight behind it and try to force it...wasn't happening. I'll never cycle again *sniff*. (Not sure I was planning to, but y'know, would have been nice to have the option!)

Recieved a letter today for an interview I had 3 weeks ago. In summary they were very impressed with me but after the interviews they were informed of a major re-structure which would mean my role would be obsolete in 6 months. Credit to them for being honest but still - grrrrr!!!

Sounds like my workplace, one of the girls in my department is on holiday from Wednesday for 10 days & part of her job no other admin knows, guess who will end up with it because the other person in my department gets too stressed out if it's something she doesn't normally do

I think a lot of workplaces suffer from that same problem. When my office decided to abolish a certain job title I had to learn a lot of information very quickly before the holder of that job took redundancy, and I'm now expected to pass it on to other people, without any formal training. Also, we used to work with another organisation whose office manager dropped dead unexpectedly, and it turned out she was the only one who'd known how to do a lot of crucial tasks, and had never passed the info onto anyone else. So they were basically screwed.

Sounds like cartilage - mine are screwed through football and cricket, the doctor told me if they lock up, or give way unexpectedly it's the cartilage that needs sorting out....
