I'm loving the live streaming..it's very well produced, they are slowly getting stuff updated. Text messages are slowly coming through albeit delayed by 5 mins. Anyone done the questionnaire thingy.....they are planning to put poll info on there as well apparently.

I thought it would just be one camera in the corner or possibly two like the normal webcams but they've got loads that are moveable....someone is working bloody hard on it I think. It is a shame we can't see what they do between links but I guess looking at an empty studio while Chris nips out for a fag probably isn't that interesting.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed that, it was a great show to come back with.

The streaming adds another dimension to the show, also the quality is significantly better than previous streaming projects. Yeah I have done the questionnaire, it tells you the current features and a poll system is part of that. Back with a bang good to see!

I left my lappy recording the stream, and checked it when I went home for lunch -- it worked.
I used Replay Media Catcher 3.0.

It only saved 75% of the duration of the stream because I haven't bought the app (in demo mode), but it should be able to record the whole thing.

I can't watch the whole show live, as I imagine 90% of listeners can't, cos they are getting ready for/on the way to work/school etc., but I can timeshift it now.

I'll see if I can record the whole thing tomorrow.

Some notes:

* It's an FLV (Flash Video) -- direct recording of the stream
* Plays well in VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
* In VLC, skipping ahead may not work unless it's been playing for a while, but I did skip ahead minutes and fast forwarded once it had been playing a while
* Might play better in other Flash Video players, but I don't use them
* I'm not going to recode it to another format, but if someone else wants to do that, please go ahead
* You may notice something "interesting" about the video (I'm deliberately being vague), but please don't post what that is here, as I'd rather it stay. PM me if you spot it.

Two things

1) They should really be able to do this on TV, through one of the Red Button features. So much easier than farting about with a computer.
2) Any chance of having a replay function through the iPlayer?

I thought it was ridiculously good quality. I really hope they don't "fix" their mistake. I feel terrible that I don't pay for it, but I would definitely if I could. They should make a pay service for international users if they can...they'd make a lot of money.
