Just had a look at the booklet and I need to choose 4 options, So I've got a lot of thinking to do.
JayE wrote:Compulsory Subjects are English, Maths, Science, Religious Studies, Careers Education, PE, Personal Development.Glad RE wasn't compulsory when I was at school
And the optional are stuff like Business, Media, Drama, Music, Languages, History and I could go on.

Yudster wrote: it is perfectly possible for an opinion to be wrong!Well, most peoples opinions, eh Yuds...?

VivAyrshire on UM wrote:It just reminded me of this dreadful female called Yudster (cm.net / aled.info), who would spend all day just fussing over grammar points, and doing nothing constructive of any kind.

chrysostom wrote:It tends to give employers a good idea of how consistent you have been in your academic results.Probably should have actually tried with RE, especially since my grade is on the same certificate as my English results
charlalottie wrote:Saying that, whenever we get CVs in and we have a nose at the grades, we take the piss if they're all A*s and As. Can't help but feel they won't be that much fun.It won't be you and your sniggering colleagues who decide who gets the job though will it?

charlalottie wrote:RE is the easy GCSE though. I remember you couldn't be wrong as every question was asking about your opinion on something.Meh, would rather do something else I might actually enjoy than sit through a subject I can't stand for 2 years just to get a decent grade out of it.
chrysostom wrote:Sad that those who learn to prioritise education (or are naturally intelligent) are seen as dull. I wish I had a string of A's when I was younger.not really. I have decent grades but i do good getting my part time jobs as well, cos im full of charisma and present myself that way. we've just done a peer review of everyones CVs at uni, and all of them except mine contained more or less the same paragraph about being punctual, mature and other qaulities. its boring. JAZZ IT UP FOLKS.
