Ha! I love going to the heavy metal strip club here. Even before I was dating the DJ!

After running out of coffee, not drinking any for more than a day and coming down with a caffeine hangover headache(Pretty similar to a normal hangover headache at a bad stage) which I'd had all day, tonight I bought myself some more and had a couple of strong cups. Now I've been feeling great for the last couple of hours, best caffeine high for aaaaages.

Boing boing boinnnnggggggggggg!

Why do you put a picture in with every post now...?

(It's not against the rules or anything, I'm just curious...)

I love that, it's my favourite TV show at the moment!

Basic answer: It fully conveys my emotions & it adds a bit of colour.

Detailed answer: The statements themselves are usually a bit dull, I feel that if they have a relevant visual aid (with an occasional humourous undertone) that they become more engaging and it adds value to the overall post (commonplace amongst a lot of forums where immaturity is encouraged). With James & Badger fully tuned in to immature/nerdy forum gags (and both posting more regularly), I've felt more comfortable including such pictures/gifs. It's probably a by product of my working relationship with the internet & community engagement.

Plus it takes less than 10 seconds to embed an image, so I figure - why not!

But what about when people don't get the reference and it makes your posts confusing to them? (You know I'm not trying to tell you to stop - just sounding it out. I trust you not to take it the wrong way :) )

I'm just watching series 1 at the moment with my flatmate (does help when they're a TV journo!). Really, really awesome acting and storylines. There's an American version that's just being shown. I think it's called Elementary. Not a patch on the Cumberbatch.

I love the pictures you post. It adds a bit of colour and its kind of your thing and people come to expect it now.
Remember Nic isn't telling you to stop but just heavily implying it twice so keep up the good work.

Then they should just ignore them. Or do what the dog does below and then continue on as normal...

I was doing nothing of the sort. How about you stop telling other people what I mean?

Usually it's what's going on in the picture that's the indicator as to what I'm trying to convey - I think you look into it too much!

People dancing & celebrating = I'm in a bouyant mood! :D

It's OK, as I know you've been perplexed by the pics before - I don't take it personally! I'll try and work in more LOST/Modern Family/TBBT gifs in the future.

C'mon now, We can't have a 3rd skirmish involving Nic & Deadly in a fortnight! I love the sound of my own typing as much as anyone else, so I'm happy to explain trivial things in unnecessary detail - now THAT is my thing :P

Let's just rejoice in the fact that I have eliminated Mondays from 2012!
