Not done any shopping yet, but we did make our cake over the weekend. It is now happily marinating in brandy in the utility room.

My mum told me that we might be having 10-15 people over this Christmas, and as I've taken over Christmas Lunch duties - I'm very excited. I've got a lot of exciting ideas planned. This was my effort last year:

I'm jealous. Due to various circumstances it looks as though I'll be spending Christmas day with only my Dad, two terriers, the chickens (alive ones I mean, although I imagine a dead one bought from a supermarket will also be involved) and a flock of sheep. Not that I don't love them all.
