Thats a funky website. Very helpful, shall spread that at work... I also has to rename the msnmsgr.exe to something else as that process is blocked by a policy... rename that and off we go...

It's surprising that you have permissions to rename that file.

Old recordings of Danny Baker and Danny Kelly radio shows are making me laugh today, primarily learning that Brian Kilcline is a satanist and Paul Breitner is a vampire 'enthusiast'.

Normal users don't but as I am IT we have a special 'Admin' account. If i run an Explorer window as that account I have admin rights thus able to rename files. Perk of the job I guess

In which case, there should be other ways of getting round it anyway, like omitting yourself from certain Group Policy settings.

You assume all admins know what they're doing.

We don't have any access to the group pols, and any changes we make, like adding users to the admin account are removed at the next reboot. All the policies are server controlled I think, things we are not allowed to touch...

You know what?

http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?page_id=1380

I would :)

I started downloading them on a free account, but it kept telling me my bandwidth was up every so often. So I ended up getting a rapidshare account, and to be honest, paying four quid to download the whole lot in a day was WELL worth it (there's a good 60 odd shows in there).

Were you a fan of the All Day Breakfast Show?

I got them off a bit-torrent after wippit went a over t.

I'll be honest I never listened to it but I'm always willing to give "new" shows a try, I'll give them a listen & will let you know what I think :)

What's making me smile today...

No I don't unfortunately, most of my stuff consists of Radio 1, Radio 2 (2009 only), Five Live (Mayo only), 6 Music, Capital FM (1997-2004), Virgin Radio (Jon Holmes & Mark Fox only) and the odd show from Heart 106.2 (well it was Pat Sharp ), XFM (Gervais & Merchant and O'Connell), Kiss 100 (A Robin Banks show, Don't ask) and a Talk Sport show where Mark Fox filled in for someone once.

Unfortunately BBC Radio is the only one that I can obtain easily, other stations not so easily unfortunately.

If you like Baker's style, then I'd say you'll like them - however I'd temper that by saying there's not really anything new or fresh in the ADBS, so if you've been listening to him for a while, it's more of what he does, but at the very least it passes the time in a more upbeat way than most other 'proper' shows. And they'll leave you with a smile on your face.
