they did three Jane's songs - Stop, Mountain Song and Been Caught Stealing - alas, no Extreme and yes he did leap around a fair bit! I also enjoyed his wife's gyrating

Yes it is - Etty Lau Farrell. Hearing those songs in a little club venue with only about 500 people was ace. It was a short set, but they were great.

You may have be using an American English dictionary, I think the Americans prefer 'spelled', though the two are interchangeable (I think).
