Girls or boys? I had boys before but if I get more I think I might go for girls - unless there's a reason not to. Do you know of any?

They're boys. I *think* girls are more inclined to fight each other, altho I'm not entirely sure on that. When i had two female gerbils they had a sudden, massive falling out for some reason I couldn't fathom, and I had to separate them. Could never put them back together after that. It was a pain.

Not being up on the old Twitter thing, what is "trending" in Twitter's terms?

When a phrase is "trending" on Twitter it means that the phrase is amongst the most tweeted phrases at that time - there is a top ten list always showing this.

Confusingly though, they changed it recently so that it means a phrase is suddenly being tweeted a lot more than it was before - i.e. most breaking instead of most popular. Allegedly Twitter did that because the phrase "Justin Bieber" had been trending for several weeks running and people got sick of it.

No more disgusting than squirrells or pigeons - pigeons carry more nasty diseases than rats or squirrells in fact. What exactly is it about them that's so disgusting, given that they are a wild animal and if you don't give them reason to pay you attention, they'll leave you alone?

Ooh, rat debate! I know some people don't like them, and I'm fine with that. I love them. Perhaps they do smell and Dan and I are immune to it, who can say.

I don't remember mine smelling, but I was pretty careful about keeping them clean because I had been led to expect that they would smell if I didn't.

All animals are disgusting as pets. True fact.

Early bath from work (will prob finish at 1100), back to Lesta to pick up lads and go shopping (adsa price, innit) then a slow paced weekend drifting around the Midlands canal systems. Will prob be in the Notts area if you wanna give us a wave! Can't wait, so excited!
