Making me smile is last nights Black Eyed Peas gig at Bumingham NEC, with support from Cheryl Tweedy which me and the missus went to. It was all great, BEPs more so than Chezza, although her live singing was better than I was expecting! Was very impressed with Fergies live efforts though, and will-i-am did a short DJ set in the middle and that rocked the house, t'was brilliant.

So tired today. Tired and happy.

One of the reasons I get so annoyed with Cheryl Tweedie (has she officially reverted to Tweedie?) is that she mimes when she COULD sing live. You don't go through the whole TV talent show thing without demonstrating that you CAN sing. So why the hell doesn't she?! I'm glad she did at the gig - I like her stuff on the whole, her album was great.

Yeah Yuds, after some of the stuff i've heard recently from CT, I was unsure what to expect, but she certainly was singing live, and sounding good too. You could tell what was backing track and what was Cheryl. Obviously had the expected imperfections which come from trying to sing while jumping around a stage, but on the whole she was good. Although Fergie from BEPs totally put her to shame. Fergie has such a voice (and chesticles!), it was amazing when she performed her solo parts. The whole gig was fantastic, ruddy great entertainment.

Also making me laugh at the gig was the family in front of us. They were obviously there for the kids, the longer it went on, mum got into it more and more and started waving her arms about. Dad? He just stood there, arms folded.... Not his scene I guess!!! Made me chuckle.

The whole business with Fincham and the letter-reading this morning was hilarious stuff, I love it when the show goes off into a world of it's own. Like Dom said:

"We're on the radio you know.. You moved out of the area for a bit.."

Gotta adjust back to planet earth after 10. Cracking show.

I have something to smile about, but I can't tell anyone yet, I have been sworn to secrecy.

But you can guess if you like

I'm guessing you'll be telling us in about 10 weeks time! If I'm right, congratulations!

 Religious leaders can be so full of shit sometimes

Oddly enough, and what he obviously forgets to mention, is that there are straight couples who do the things he mentioned there & homosexual couples that don't, nothing like a preacher to stir up shit eh?

making me smile.....and cringe......my two and a half year old pointing and saying "look daddy, a man on a bike". A nice big sentence.......it's a shame it was a lady though. she didn't seem to appreciate the sentence.
