nicola_red wrote:Thanks Johnny - found him! PC Pete Ramsey. Only in it for a year - 1988-89, so I was 14. Died a hero's death, shot whilst protecting 'Tosh' Lines during a bank robbery *sniff*

Knew you'd find him on there :), the DVD's haven't got to Ramsey's death yet, the last volume has only the first four episodes of 1989 so far (I think Ramsey died in July with his mate in it, PC Haynes, leaving about a month later). Oddly enough when Ramsey first came in the show he's an unlikeable, smug git (to me at least), however by the more recent release he's more likeable, if flash, him and Haynes are a good double act. They've also started pairing off Jim & Tosh together with WPC Martella in tow a lot of the time.

Funny how a lot of the cast that were introduced in 1988 disappeared by 1989/90, then again the episode count per year did rise from 21 in 1987 to around 104 by 1989 8O

Looking forward to seeing Matt Fincham in June on The Bill! haha.

Making me smile today was my nieces 5th birthday party and everyone had a nice time. Even the adults played pin the tail on the donkey.

Can't believe Fulham beat Juventus, I really hope they go all the way now :)

Beaten to it by johnny. As a die-hard cottagers fan I was extremely tense for two hours last night. I made everyone in the living room shit up in the last few minutes I was so worried. Now we may have to play Liverpool...

Well these days that will be a piece of piss. Well done - I've never been a Fulham fan, and I have always quite liked Juve, but that was a fantastic display last night, and a very well deserved win. Now win the damn trophy!

I respectivly disagree, tomorrows schedules are definately crap TV in my opinion (BBC 1 has sport on from 12pm until 1am) 8O ITV 1 has Piers Moron on & channel 4 has back to back episodes of Come Dine With Me

Only QI XL & TV Burp are worth watching, a night out tomorrow me thinks :)

 No although I do have Irish acenstory somewhere down the line, my Mother's surname was Reilly although she was a *, as were her parents & her grandparents, so it's a rather diluted connection now.

There are so many possible responses to this, but not one of them seems quite perfect.............

Get there early.

I hear that they give more tickets than spaces to ensure a full house.

My parents went to TV Burp. Even my mum, who isn't a Harry Hill fan, seemed to really enjoy it. I could tell when a few days later we were watching what seemed to be a perfectly serious moment in an episode of Coronation Street and she suddenly started snorting with laughter - it was of course a clip he'd used in the recording of the show, and they get them in advance of the shows being broadcast.
