Freshers. They're idiots. OK, not all, but a large proportion. Before I was even out on Saturday I saw one passed out, like completely KO'd, outside the club. Idiots. And they clog everywhere up. Kindly piss off.

I accidentally spilled wine (not in a drunken way) on my phone at my art club last night, and despite drying it out, my phone's knackered. :(

My mobile insurance covers water damage. Although this wasn't water, I'm hoping I can still put the claim in if I say it was "liquid damage". Now I'm wondering whether it would be best to do it online or over the phone...

If it was white wine, just say it was water. In fact say it was water anyway, water is the main ingredient of wine!

I've read the terms and seen that my policy covers "liquid damage" and includes "The cost of repair (or replacement if a repair cannot be made) where accidental damage, water or liquid damage, or malicious damage has occurred", so I think I'm okay. :D

Good - they probably wouldn't be able to find out, but I'd have worried too!

I registered my claim at lunchtime (and told them everything, as the prerecorded message about fraud while I was waiting scared me into it!) and the lady I spoke to told me I could download a claim form from the net. So all good I hope. I've had it less than six months though, so the excess will cost me £50. :(
