See I'm in agreement with the happy people, but Cat doesn't like it... and to be fair to her, she's not really one to moan when it's colder (much), she just hates the heat.

I was always really thankful that I was pregnant mostly through autumn and winter - at least the heaviest bits anyway. Its uncomfortable enough without having to worry about staying cool, which you can't do even in the middle of winter when you are pregnant because your body temperature regulation goes all to pieces. Poor Cat.

We only got one really summery day and that was Saturday. It was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it. Now it's back to 15 degrees, and set to drop as low as 10 over the coming days.

It's also been great having the heating off in my house. It must be badly insulated as it's so heavily affected by the temperature outside, and I know I'll be adding a couple of hours back on again when I get home.

I'm prepared for the next heatwave though (new hat and dress), so there had better be one. And not only during the Open please - I want to enjoy it with as few tourists as possible!

Hands down the worst film i have ever had to sit through.

Racism, sexism, lazy innuendo, homophobia : all for cheap laughs - and of the 400 women around me, at least 350 of them were idiots.

clapping at the beginning and end of the film, a really shit script and anti middle east/muslim jokes and behaviour ("oh my god, look at the freak in the veil - how does she even eat?"), and the sheer laziness of the script writing made this the worst film i have ever seen, taking over from how to lose a guy in 10 days.

if anyone wants a quick summary of the characters throughout the film:

Carrie : My relationship is complicated!
Samantha : I'm old, but i like sex god-dammit! (WOOO!)
Charlotte : I like the life of a housewife, but i'm my own woman
Miranda : HELLO.

So angry at this film. and the american style audience.

I'm going to have to give this my lowest rating ever. Seven thumbs up.
