Nothing, was just checking. Just be sure to shut the bedroom window when you leave after watching me sleep, I hate it when flies get in.

Layabout Yudster is finally off his arse - for a while anyway. He's managed to get a place on a training course for a few months. At least he'll be out of the house a few hours each day......

I recognised Viv on the first post of her thread - you lot were really slow there!
#392464
I've been hearing about Viv for a while but had never actually seen her post before. I have to say I was a bit disappointed, I was expecting real spark or bite but it just came over as a bit ordinary. If you're going to wind people up, at least be clever about how you do it!

Has anyone seen that daft advert for Brothers pear cider, based on the idea from the movie Seven Brides for Seven Brothers? Well, notwithstanding that virtually none of the people who that product is aimed at will have a clue about the movie connection, I just noticed that the sixth person who gets chucked out when they say they want 5 Brothers looks just like a fat Comedy Dave.

Well it made ME smile.

Viv usual trolls round here when she's having a bad day and needs to rant some anger. It's not the usual kind of viv post bless her.

I am not worried, he is a lovely chap, independent, kind, enjoys his own company, good self esteem and will not be bullied. He's just crap at writing!

I think the real thing is his Sister is top 10% in everything, the comparison is always difficult.

I was so proud of her on Monday, she did Country Dancing for Princess Anne, when she opened an Orchard at a National Trust house to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Bramley Apple.

That's exactly the kind of thing I would say about Miss Yudster at that age - it doesn't just count for a lot, it counts for everything. I dropped her at the airport this afternoon, she hasn't been abroad since she was a baby and hasn't ever been anywhere significant on her own, and she's off to Kenya for a month. Within five minutes of getting through passport control she texted me to say a bunch of American Christian basketball players were chatting to her and they were all having a great time. Academic achievements mean nothing, that's the kind of person who will always do well in life.
