Ah. My point was not that big boobs are bad or that boobs shouldn't be on show. It was that I felt it was inappropriate to have that much cleavage out at a formal occasion. If you wanna look on facebook at the pics of me at my bro's wedding (altho I'd rather nobody did in fact cos I think I look horrendously fat), you'll see that I had no cleavage on show at all.

The boobs are a lot more appropriate than the bingo wings. There's no place for them anywhere!

Seriously? Hardly the time or place to be whipping them out. Tacky indeed.

Was it as bad as this?

I don't think it's that bad. From your remark I thought it was more like the photo Zoot had. Which, by the way, is absolutely disgusting. I'm baffled that every woman she came in contact with thought that was OK and didn't try to talk her out of it. Dear God, it looks like 2 volleyballs strapped down with dental floss.

No, it's probably not that bad. But let's put it this way, she'd just married a man I had feelings for that I've never been able to tell anyone about and I needed to be bitchy about her. I'm getting over it now.

No, where did I say it was? I said I needed to be bitchy about her to feel better, and now I've done that and I'm working on getting over it in an adult fashion instead. Thanks for the support, though.

The BNP, basically.

After watching Have I Got News For You I had a look in to what they were saying about 'Billy The Brit' and their youth camps. Turns out they are both true.
The thing is, they claim that Britain has fought for the values they are trying to uphold. This is anything but true - our wars were fought so that the blind nationalism of the Nazis was abolished and that people should be able to intergrate freely in society. Charlie Brooker puts it much more eloquently here.

I don't often get annoyed at politics, but this really pisses me off. Look at what they are trying to show to the kids. It's so bizarre, I don't know whether to laugh or cry:

PS - I do realise I am preaching to the converted, but I needed to rant :D

I read that article by Charlie Brooker, it's extremely well written and absolutely correct.

I couldn't watch more than a few seconds of that propaganda video - normally I can watch with disapproving interest, but I know the target audience and it makes me sick - I strongly believe that to show that to kids is tantamount to child abuse. I do, however, find the below clip extremely interesting - and I'm not Russell Brand fan by a long stretch, but I gained a bit of respect for him after watching it:

The BNP are a hateful collection of thuggish nazi *, trying to present themselves as politicians, but thankfully only the extremely misguided and stupid can't see past it. They are absolutely no better than the National Front. What is worrying about the whole expenses row that has been dominating the headlines over the last few days is that it may give parties like theirs a larger proportion of the vote. They say they fear for the future of this country, but their ideals couldn't be further from how this country has ever been.

What I alluded to earlier in another thread about censorship and what Yudster referred to - in my mind at least - being far more extreme than Jonathan Ross, I was essentially talking about parties like the BNP and the National Front - you can't censor them because it effectively gives them a bigger voice and makes them look victimised and therefore people start to feel sorry for them. They'd love to be banned, I'm sure, for those reasons - which is why they must never be.
