I want Boboff to foster me. I promise the trees and the river won't be a problem!

Pithy and accurate.

Pah. Wait in line. I'd be a foreign foster.

Not what, who. Two people. JJ Abrams and Gordon Strachan. Together they have combined over 24 hours to pretty much rip out my heart and piss all over it.

Hehe, yeah that about sums it up. Except Doc and Marty FIXED THE BLOODY TIMELINE AGAIN AFTERWARDS.

Sadly we seem to be stuck with Biff-world.

Not that I'm any worse. I've just spent an hour reading about TS Eliot when I should have been working. Damn.

No, I'll top that. I now have a 5000 word essay on why the new Star Trek movie has killed the franchise for me. Now that's not just geeky, that's mayor of loserville.

She's at work tonight - at least that explains why I'm reaching new sad depths on a Saturday night!

The guy I'm 'seeing' (don't ask) went and saw it on Friday and said pretty much the same thing. I think his words were 'Alternate Reality can hide a multitude of sins' - and I used Back to the Future as a comparison when he was describing it to me. So don't panic - you're not alone!

From what's being mentioned on the Doctor Who Forums, a lot of people on the Star Trek Forums apparently hate it (there's a suprise)

For what it's worth, I disliked it because it's yet another film that screwed up when it comes to time-travel - it's inconsistent; going back in time either changes things or it doesn't - you can't have both so choose one.

But there's also the argument that each action creates an alternative dimension that runs besides ours (according to scientists) :D

Couldn't register at my new doctors' cos they need a copy of my tenancy agreement. Why? I'm in pain and need to wait another day. I'm not happy.

Hmm, my doctors didn't need a copy of my tenancy agreement, but then I guess it may have been different, as I was just changing my address and staying at the same doctors (despite the fact that I'd lived out of the catchment area for about six years prior to that and hadn't bothered changing.)
