I remember the Panini sticker albums 1981/82. Andy Gray had a fly in his hair both years in his sticker photo.

Bag for balls wrote:Liverpool FC, 5 time European Champions, 18 times champions of England, (both surpassing Man Utd) ... etc etc............ the team you'd have supported if you were born 10 years earlier.

Malfoy the glory, you really should brush up on your football knowledge.

Without killing anyone though, we've won it 2 times!

Bournmouth? Really? Must have missed that.

I'm not sure what your reference to "killing people" means.

Heysel.

(shh Yud...... I'm aware of that, just trying to tempt the Bournmouth based United supporting/following insensitive fella into a debate).

Incidently Heysel was in 1985. By that time Liverpool had won 4 European titles....... as you so elloquently put it.... with out killing anybody. (4 > 2)

Although I'm not sure what "killing anybody" has to do with winning titles.

If Hargreaves is so bloody desperate to leave, why the hell did he sign a new contract last year? He only has himself to blame.

No one showed any interest in him till after the World Cup, thats why......

Best way to get noticed, play your heart out in a poorly performing World Cup Squad.

Exactly Longvoo.

He was a national laughing stock before the world cup, everyone questioned his place in the squad, but it turned out he was our only decent player.

He has, as it were, put himself in the shop window.

Man U seem to be the only team after him though.

Champion's League draw predictions:

Man U will get Real Madrid and van Nistelrooy will come back to haunt them;

Celtic will get English opposition;

Barcelona wil get English opposition

Chelsea will draw the easiest team.

Malfoy the glory, he wants to go to England, Chelsea don't want him. If Man Utd PLC want him then no other team stands a chance.

That's unfortunately the way the cookie crumbles.

Oh and I would love for horseyhead to come back and haunt your/their football team/company.

Come on Baggie, did you miss the Malcolm Glazer thing? ManU PLC ceased to exist some time ago, and Glazer hasn't put - and won't be putting - anything like the capital into United that some of these other takeovers will be providing. When it comes to the transfer market, ManU's pockets are considerably shorter than several other clubs' these days, and it looks as though this will continue. Now THAT'S the way the cookie crumbles - and for me, the jury is still out on whether it is unfortunate or not.
