A twig pocked me in the eye, and I climbed under a fallen tree stump and came up and banged my head, now my right eye is hurting and watering and my head kills.

Do you ever have days where you are sure inanimate objects are picking on you ?

Ow and that man drawer has 12 empty refilable lighters, some 6 inch nails and 3 allen keys from kids bedroom furniture, as well as 14p in coppers a five pence piece and 10 cents from Euro land.

Is it one from the good old days of real sized ones rather than the stupid tiny ones we have now? I'm sure my man drawer has one of those.

I so did the wrong course at uni.

But on a related note, why did girls always get their own special sex education class on such stuff? Do people think that guys wouldn't benefit from learning about it?! Surely that would help most of us somewhere in later life? In fact, given some of the pish we got at school that we've never had to know since we left, it's just a tad misguided.

End of rant.

All of it probably, I still haven't had the "coping with that time of the month" class. I only have hearsay to go on. It's connected to the full moon and somehow you don't die despite bleeding constantly for a week, right? Do you top up at the blood bank? Is that why supplies are always so low? Are all women actually vampires? Is that why Oz got laughed at in American Pie when he said "suck me beautiful"? Was she thinking "I'd love to sink my teeth into your neck, I'm getting a bit low on supplies"?

Annoying me today - hearing about what's happening in Guadeloupe.

They're in the middle of a strike that's been going on for 4 weeks - no fuel, shops closed, schools closed, food limited and electricity cut off sometimes. In all the tension a man was killed not far from where I used to work the other day. Scary shit.

It's annoying me particularly because I have good friends out there and I'm worried about them, they're not safe. I've heard they're getting ready to pack it all in and just leave the island now and I must say I'm quite relieved.

Caribbean dream? My * arse.

Well, as no one has ever had to experience both, we can only speculate. However, I would be inclined to agree with the boy in your class on that one. That said, I'm pretty sure you trump us with childbirth.

I'll bet I've already been hit in the balls more times in my life than the vast majority of women will give birth in their lives. So I suppose it's a quality over quantity debate. I'm sure childbirth is vastly more painful, but I can get hit in the balls more than once in one game of five-a-side football (and have done - the second one always sucks so much more). Women have nine months minimum between births.

Period pains seem like just evilness though. Although I wish I could fix a kick in the balls with masturbation... (it works for some women and their period pains apparently)
