do that to somebody in your job and see what reaction you get. at 19 he is an adult its no excuse for being a t*sser.

They wouldn't get up again if they started. Rooneys not a tosser at all, and if he scores for England he is even less of one. Yes he is 19, not 29. He has come from being a normal kid on ruff streets to being a superstar football playing alongside some of the biggest names, he is going to be like that once in a while. Although i dont agree with what he did, it's in his nature he cant help it. The ref is a prick anyway so i dont stand behind him much.
It's just the fact that the media make a frenzy out of an incident. It's like when he pushed that Spanish (i think) goalie in an England match. He carried on into the photographers to make a meal of it. Which makes it look worse than it already is. He didn't push him that hard. Give him sometimes he will change.

it doesnt matter which ref it was, any ref would have sent him off.

19 is not a kid. he shouldnt act like one.

all this rubbish about him coming from a rough neighbourhood. manners cost nothing and if a someone is being a dick it doesnt matter where they are from.

i'm not anti-rooney. the lad is a great player and has had to put up with some unneccesary sh*t (a fair bit from Evertonians) and everyone is a tw*t every now and again but most of us aren't under that kind of public scrutiny. but when someone acts like a tosser dont pretend it goes deeper than just that.

Hernan Crespo must have the most slappable f*cking face I've ever seen, he should have stayed at Milan.

If i were Sven. Id tell Rooney e is out of the England team if he does 1 more thing at either Man U or England. Shock him into it. And dont back down. If we lose him it's a big loss, but id rather play 11 men with Defoe and Owen, than have Rooney sent off and be down to 10 men.
But i have faith in Rooney, he's an amazing player. And regardless of what people think, he is no idiot.

No, only players with intellect make sarcastic gestures at referees.

To be honest have refs got much intellect. Any of them? With some of the things that have happened at the Wolves, well you know. It's a wonder they got out of the grounds.

you hilariously put heinze and pistone in the same quality bracket.

obviously the two cannot be compared as pistone is miles ahead in terms of class and quality.

Heinze is the best left-back in the Premiership.

Why the f*ck doesn't Fergie revert back to 4-4-2 so that we can actually score goals?

Ha ha Man City fans.

Mick McCarthy, shut up.

Think we've been well and truly kicked in the b*llocks today, infact I'd go as far to say...it was a ridiculous result!! Although, unlike Fergie, I'm actually right.

Bolton have made it to third in my list of hated teams, behind Chelsea and the Buccaneers.

From now on, Manchester United shall be known as Injury United. I bet Fergie wished he had actually bothered in the transfer market, bloody idiot. He should have gone for Carrick and King.

Carrick and King are wasted at Spurs. Carrick is an excellent replacement for Keane and Rio and King would be a greate defensive partnership.
